Robin of Sherwood

Commission wise i have been busy painting Robin Hood and his band  of Outlaws. The evil Sheriff sneaked in there as well. Not sure of the make of all the figures. Was quite generous with the foliage on the bases to give a forest feel.

Beware the Beholder

All the buzz around Frostgrave has me remembering my fantasy roots, so i have decided to paint up some miniatures. I have started with a Reaper Beholder. Think it could be used as a wondering monster but i am drawn to the idea of using it as an apprentice for my Warband of Ultimate Evil.

Lindir of Rivendell

I started out by painting fantasy miniatures and still enjoy painting them up. This model is Lindir of Rivendell from GW. Painted up as a commission, with the colour scheme being a straight copy.

Bits and Bobs

Been busy finishing off a couple of commisions.

First off we have have some Hittites from Foundry. Quite tricky to get the skin tone right but i am happy with the end result.

We also have Smaug, OOP model from Games Workshop 10mm Warmaster. Client will finish off the basing themself.

Here be Dragons !

I guess like a lot of people my route into this hobby was playing AD&D in the 80's then moving on to Warhammer. While i don't play much Fantasy these days i still enjoy painting up some fantasy miniatures. It lets me get a bit creative and makes a change from painting units of historical minis that keeps me from burn out.

Here is a diorama i painted up. The dragon is 2nd hand off ebay so not sure what make it is. The knight is from Thunderbolt Mountain Arthurian range. The base was one of these amazing sculpted resin bases that are available these days.

Hope you like.
