Another side project i have been working on when i have a bit of time and feel like a change is some opponents for my 82nd Airborne, some Late War German SS. Figures are from Warlord Games. Not sure if my camo is 100% accurate but i am happy with the result.

Samurai
Latest commission has been a group of Samurai by Perry Miniatures. Lovely miniatures to paint as you would expect coming from the Perry's. Now just have to resist the temptation to start my own samurai project, I have enough on the go as it is.
I have tried to make them look like a group while giving them individual tunics, trousers etc. The Mon is the clients own design.

Blucher
Like a lot of people i have been impressed with the release of Blucher by Sam Mustafa. So much so that i have begun painting some 6mm Austrians. This is a bit of a departure fore me as i usually paint 28mm for my own figures. I even own some 28mm Russians but i could never create the grand scale i am looking for with Napoleonic s without a massive investment.
Blucher seems to be the answer, with a brigade level game and the change in scale feels right to me, and the rules move along swiftly which is something else i like. The 6mm figures have been easy to paint up as i am not worrying about every detail insted im going for the impression on mass.
The figures i have chosen are from Adler and the unit stats are magnetic from Sally 4th

Lindir of Rivendell
I started out by painting fantasy miniatures and still enjoy painting them up. This model is Lindir of Rivendell from GW. Painted up as a commission, with the colour scheme being a straight copy.

Round Two
Managed another game of Impetus over the weekend. Medieval Russians vs Teutonics.
Teutonic Cavalry Horde bearing down on me.
Camp Duty.
Russian Cavalry charge out to meet the enemy.
Crunch.
The initial charge goes well for the Russians destroying one of the Teutonic Knights.
The centre becomes a grudge match with both generals entering the fray.
Impetus swings to the Teutonics as they push the Russian cavalry back and eventually manage to destroy that command.
The Russian foot finally arrives but to late to affect the outcome of the battle.
Disaster for the Russians as the game ends in defeat. The Teutonic General celebrates victory.
