WWII Japanese Infantry

As something of a break from painting ancients i have just finished a  WWII Japanese Infantry Squad from Warlord Games. The last WWII figures i painted where old airfix back when i was a kid, so they are a bit of a departure for me. I enjoyed painting them up and plan to do some more.

SAGA Carolingians

Roman Legionaries

Some photos of Imago Militus Imperial Roman Legionaries. Shield transfers from LBMS.  Based on 60x40mm bases for Hail Caeser or Impetus.

Samurai

Been a busy week for me. Latest off the painting table are some Samurai for the Ronin skirmish game from North Star, destined for Ebay.

Test Base

Managed to produce a first test base for a new impetus project. A base of Almogavars for a Aragonese/Catalan company Impetus army. The figures are from Eureka miniatures. Happy with the base, wanted to go for a strong colour scheme representing dry mountinous area.

Huns vs Late Romans

Managed to get a game in over the weekend, Actually managed to win this game and in the excitement i forgot to take many photos.

Managed to get a couple of shots as my Gothic allied cavalry is about to hit the Romans. Eventually the Goth command routed but did manage to create enough damage on the Roman left. The Roman commander went on some gallant but foolish cavalry charge and got surrounded by Hun light cavalry and was slowly turned into a pin cushion. Eventually my main command managed to do enough damage to force the Romans to rout.
